Surprise: Parents more Web-savvy

Study finds parents perform better online than teens - Jan. 31, 2005. Cool, so now when some teen puts my oldschool-self to shame at the skatepark, I can take solace in the fact that I'm foolish enough to tolerate poorly designed websites.

JewelCase iTunes plug-in

Great idea! Riffs off the idea of CDs as objects from Delicious Library. From the publisher: "JewelCase is a plug-in that turns iTunes into a visual jukebox, displaying each song in a virtual CD jewel case, complete with album cover art, artist and album information... It's just like viewing real CDs in your collection!"

Garageband 2 Takes ACID!

One of the many new cool things in the new iLife suite is the quiet acknowledgement that Garageband can now import Sony Media Software ACID audio loops. This is great for former ACID software users like myself who already have a library of loop CDs. In addition, there's a great community around the ACID product that Garageband users can now theoretically participate in - downloading free loops, remix loops, and buying loops CDs that go beyond the JamPacks offered by Apple. Now your only limitation is how many tracks you can stuff in a Garageband file.

Plays "Fer Sure"

Created this parody after reading the CNET Article - 'Plays for sure' means Microsoft's inside Published: August 25, 2004. Their new tagline reminded me of the slang "Fer Sure" made famous by Frank Zappa's song Valley Girl (A song unfortunately not on iTMS!)...
