(mt) Media Temple: Free Upgrade for current (ss) customers

"(mt) Media Temple values its existing customers immensely. We are extremely pleased to announce a major upgrade for our current (ss) Shared-Server customers to the new (ss) Shared-Server 4.0 platform...This represents more than a 700% increase in resource allocations. There is no fee associated with this upgrade and your current pricing will remain exactly the same."

I'm an (mt) hosting customer. It's always cool when you get more than what you originally paid for without asking.

It is cool. But has your upgrade actually come through yet? I am still waiting. I understood it would be doen 25 days after the 1st May...

Thx for the comment. Agreed, I've been hitting my control panel every day expecting to see that jump in disk space and now 6/1 has come and gone. I'm holding out hope the (mt) will wrap this up soon, but starting to wonder if/when I should contact support. Also, they are usually very organized in sending out alerts, so I'm surprised they haven't come right out and notified effected users that they are behind schedule. I'll post another comment if I take the support request route. We shall see...

Well by the end of this past week, my site upgrade was completed. I had put in a support query at the beginning of the week and got a very prompt reply letting me know about the delay. So, while it was a bit past the initial date (mt) set I'm still very pleased.
